“When I let go of what I Am, I Become what I might Be.” -Lao Tzu

Yoga, to me, is the refinement of the art of personal transformation.

I believe all Beings are inherently drawn, yearn towards continuous self-evolvement, living as the creative expressions of the Life Force that courses through us all. This vibrationing force  is our common bond and our sacred essence. We are divine creatures creatively expressing the pulsating throb of Life here on this earth. Our unique vibration is a thread that weaves the tapestry of  humanity and life-forms.

When we are breathing freely and deeply, moving from our physical, emotional, and spiritual centers, we radiate Health and Light. We are authentic, clear-visioned, and freshly alive in our supple bodies… as we see in small children.

The world seems to encourage hardening. Growing up too. Watching the news demands it.  When we harden our minds in order to deny our emotions and felt sense, we stop breathing freely because we are really choosing to harden our body. Over time these physical tensions around the breathing body really add up. With yoga, we practice consciously moving  into various shapes and balances while continuing to breathe freely and deeply in a relaxed body. As we begin to consciously circulate our breathing energy – chi, prana, Life Force- through the precise anatomical alignment of our bodies, our natural energetic paths coursing through the body (‘meridians’) begin greater alignment, opening up and straighteingn out. This is the alignment that yoga postures are so concerned with. When the bones are lined up in an optimal way and the mucsles coordinate in new ways, the tissues they are supporting, the nerves, connective facia, the cells have the space to vibrate clearly, indvidually and collectively.

thank you.
